Linda Marie Vogler Futrell, age 78, of Florence, passed away on August 19, 2021. Linda was born on December 14, 1942 in Georgetown, Texas to Ben and Mildred Vogler. She married Billy Ray Futrell at St Peter Lutheran Church in Walburg, Texas on October 20, 1963.

Linda attended Durham Business College and was a bookkeeper at San Gabriel Optical. She was also a Vice-President of Union State bank in Florence, Texas.

Billy and Linda were members of St. Peter Lutheran Church, in Walburg, Texas, where she taught Sunday School. Linda also enjoyed playing Bunco and Dominoes.

Linda loved her family like no other. She enjoyed traveling, especially cruising, loved baking, especially cookies to give away (orange slice were her most famous cookies). Because Linda loved cooking for her family and having them gather around the table, Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Mildred Vogler, and infant brother, Thomas Elmer Vogler. She is survived by her husband, Billy Ray Futrell; Daughter, Traci and husband, Lance Shillingburg; sons, Brent Futrell and wife, Olga, Breck Futrell and wife, Leslie; brother, Mike Vogler and wife, Genie; grandsons, Reid Shillingburg, Danny Futrell, Benjamin Futrell; granddaughters: Jena and husband, Clark Barrineau, Meridyn and husband, Trey Policarpio, Mackenzie Futrell, Riley Futrell, Chaztin (Boo) Futrell; great granddaughter, Laikynn Barrineau; Future great grandson, Axton Ray Policarpio.

The family is thankful for the care provided by the doctors and staff of St. David's Georgetown Hospital.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation in Linda's name to St. Peter Lutheran Church of Walburg, Texas, or a charity of your choice.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, on Monday August 23, 2021 at Ramsey Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at St. Peter Lutheran Church Walburg. Burial St. Peter Cemetery Walburg.
