Leana Nunez's Obituary
Leana Larray Esther Nunez, 15, of Georgetown, passed away on April 2, 2020.
A time of visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. untll 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78633. We want to remind our visitors that we are limited to 10 guests in our funeral home at a time. You may experience a wait time, so please plan your visit accordingly and be respectful of each person coming to pay their respects to Leana.
Leana was born on June 11, 2004 in Temple, Texas, the daughter of Ruben and Leonda Moore-Tobias.
Leana was in her sophomore year at East View High School and was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Georgetown.
She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family more than anything. Dancing and being silly went along with her high-maintenance and fun personality. Mommy-daughter time, where shopping and getting their nails done was the priority, was one of her favorite things in life. Leana could light up a room with her beautiful smile and dimples. If she knew someone was down she would make it her mission to help them. She had numerous friends that became hers sisters Izzy, Karina, and Kiara. Throughout everything, they have been the one's that have been there for not only Leana but also the rest of our family.
As a parent you never imagine losing your child, but I take pride in knowing that my little girl was so greatly loved by everyone she touched in her short life. She was my bestie, we told each other everything. I'm truly going to miss our random dance sessions in the living room and me singing to her "You are my Sunshine". Larray, I promise to never let your memory fade and to continue to keep in touch with your sissy's. Fly high baby girl and get our mansion in the sky decorated and ready, we love and miss you and always remember I love you more than life itself.
Preceding Leana in death were her step-sister, Misty Tobias; grandmother, Maryhelen Caudillo; grandfather, Leon Larry Moore; great grandma, Carolina Dominguez; and father, Ruben Tobias.
Leana is survived by her mother, Leonda Moore-Tobias of Georgetown; brother, Tristian Nunez of Georgetown; sissy, Leanne Moore-Dominguez of Georgetown; step-sister, Alyssa Tobias of Hobbs, New Mexico; grandmother, Juanita Dominguez of Georgetown; aunts, Carolina Dominguez-Moore and Roxanne Tobias (Joseph Tamez); uncles, John Moore-Dominguez (Dani) and Mike Gonzalez (Cristina); grandpa, Ruben Tobias (Nitza); godparents, Antonio & Esther Matehuala; boyfriend, Bobby Gardner.
Honored to serve as Pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Bobby Gardner, Trevon Watts, Chuy Torrez, Junior Torrez, Jeffrey Weaver and Brian Bentiz.
