Dylan
Olmeda
March 11, 2003 – February 25, 2020
Dylan John Olmeda, age 16, passed away on February 25, 2020. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Granger City Cemetery in Granger, Texas.
Dylan was the sweetest big brown eyed boy you could ever meet. He took a genuine concern in anyone that showed love toward him. He would give you everything he had if you were deserving. He loved all of gods joyous wonders in the outdoors and respected those gifts through hunting and putting food on the table for the family.
He loved his friends wholeheartedly and would do anything for them. There were friends that might fall away from time and distance but when met again felt like no time at all. He did for others things he couldn't do for himself. There are angels in this world that come through like shooting stars. Dylan was one of those stars. He came into this world big and bright and full of life fast and furious. Dylan loved helping his family with the heaving lifting and defended his mother and sisters against all evils. He was so protective and gentle. He knew when others needed him and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Looking into his big brown eyes with those long eye lashes you couldn't help but love him. You can ask his friends and family how much he loved just sitting on the back porch shooting the bull or sitting at the lake with a fishing pole not catching a thing.
After the loss of his father and so many unanswered questions he lost himself. He still loved everything the same but he couldn't get past it for himself. He tried to continue for others but his fight took it's toll. You have to know he tried. He started going to the lake with friends and reaching out. His mom took him and his friends out on the boat to tube and had so much fun! He was coming back! Tradegy almost took his life when a tubing accident caused a traumatic brain injury last summer but it was a fresh start. It gave his sister and mother a chance to see glimpses of that sweet boy again. His sister moved home to help, so the troop was all together. We were all here to support him but he was still in that broken body. His heart was still strong but his mind was so troubled it was not enough.
Dylan tried so hard at being successful in school for the first time in a long time, helped around the house a little more, started fighting back….. His battle was lost on February 25 when the evils of this world convoluted his mind to find a way out. This way out has given him freedom from the evils of this world and he is now at peace in heaven with our lord and savior Jesus Christ. The good lord has watched over this beautiful boy all his time on this earth and is now holding him in his arms forever more.
