Donna Bogan
Clark
February 7, 1945 – March 5, 2023
Donna Bogan Clark , age 78, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 5 th , 2023, at Seton Williamson Hospital in Round Rock, TX. She fought dementia almost 7 years ultimately losing her battle. She was surrounded by her loving family her final few days. Donna was born in Gurley, Alabama on February 7 th , 1945 to proud parents Evelyn Williamson and David Bogan. Donna graduated from Butler High School in Huntsville, Alabama also spending part of her high school years in Germany at Ludwigsburg American High School. Donna loved calling herself a military brat never staying settled for long with her family growing up. After high school Donna went on to study many different correspondence courses as well as attended college in Columbus, Georgia. Through nearly fifty years of employment she held occupations in sales, accounting, and bookkeeping ultimately retiring from her career with the Travis County Sheriff's Department in Austin, Texas.
Donna was married nearly 20 years to William Clark. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Donna was an avid bowler and loved spending time camping and being outdoors with her family. Donna's accomplishments in the outdoors were not to be outdone. She once harvested three deer in one hunt in a time when most struggled to even see a deer while hunting. In her later years of life, Donna's passion became her grandkids and her dogs. It was often times hard to know which of the two meant more to her, but she would probably say the dogs because they didn't talk back to her. Donna never met a dog she was not fond of and she helped foster and care for many abandoned and abused dogs. Donna's dogs provided her with more joy than almost anything.
Donna is survived by her former husband William Clark, son Robert Clark and wife Paulette Clark, son Glenn Clark and grandchildren Raegan Rychlik, Truitt Clark, and Alyssa Clark. She was proceeded in death by her mother Evelyn Harrison, father David Bogan and stepfather William Harrison along with step brother Allen Harrison. A celebration of life and memorial service will be held at Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown Tuesday March 14 th at 2:00 pm.
