Charles Lynn
Gore
December 31, 1978 – August 14, 2023
Charles Lynn Gore, of Florence, passed away on August 14th, 2023 at his home in Florence.
Visitation will be August 23rd from 5-7pm at Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown, Tx.
Funeral Services will be held at 10AM on Thursday, August 24th at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Wes Willie of FBC officiating. Burial will follow at Florence City Cemetery. Arrangements made by Ramsay Funeral Home.
Charles was born in Georgetown, Tx to Otis Anthony and Linda Cathleen (Moore) Gore on December 31st, 1978. He went to school in Florence, Tx where he resided most of his life. He was a kind, loving, and generous soul. He started out working with his dad and brother for years under Anthony Gore and Sons Backhoe Services and as a lineman, other cable, construction and railroad occupations.
He loved to hunt, fish and take his son and nieces to the tank and go on beach trips with his son. He had a love and talent for building things from BBQ pits to bumpers to his favorite…racing trucks or cars. He loved to race trucks and most of his friends watched or rode with him at some point whether back in high school in the "C Gore Fly" truck (not so legal) or at the mud or sand drags as he was older. He was always there to help anyone if they needed it whether it was a friend or family. Most importantly, Charles was a Christian.
Charles is preceded in death by his grandfather, Cecil Robert Moore and grandparents, Otis and Opal Gore.
Charles is survived by his only son Kaleb Anthony Gore, sister Leslie Gore Futrell; spouse Breck Futrell, brother Otis Anthony Gore, Jr, parents Otis Anthony and Linda Cathleen (Moore) Gore, nieces Mackenzie Lynn Futrell, Riley Mayan Futrell, and Chaztin Kendall Futrell, Grandmother Dolores Moore, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jake Isbell, Jason Easter, Heath Wright, Monte Priest, Hunter Hallmark, and Ryan Isbell.
Memorials may be given to Vera Bank in Florence for an account setup for his son, Kaleb Gore.
