Obituary

BRIAN RICHARD DALEY

Brian R. Daley, 51, passed away on October 18, 2023, at his home in Georgetown, TX. He had been dealing with heart and other health related issues for several years.

Brian was born on March 26, 1972, to Patricia and Richard Daley in Norwood, MA. He grew up in Walpole, MA where he enjoyed riding his bike, sledding, and playing backyard sports. His beloved mother, Patricia Daley, passed away in 1987, but Brian always carried her close to his heart.

In his early years he regularly attended the Christian Life Center Church in Walpole, MA. He was very active in the youth group, puppet ministry and visited Mexico, Venezuela, Aruba, and Colombia on missions' trips.

He went on to attend Tri-County Regional Vocational High School in Franklin, MA and majored in Auto Repair. He had many talents and abilities that led him on his eclectic career path. He was an auto mechanic with his good friend Big AlRiveras, the Children's Director Intern at New Life Christian of Walpole, MA; Van Driver for Kiessling Transportation in Norfolk, MA; Co-Owner & Carpenter of B&R Construction, Foxborough, MA; Construction Worker & Equipment Operator at Gravity Construction Inc. in Plainville, MA.

After relocating to Texas, he started working for a newly opened Home Depot store. He quickly became the heartbeat of the store, loved by all. For 16 years he worked hard in various departments and eventually became the Overnight Replenishment Manager. His Orange family described him as reliable, quick with a joke and enthusiastically singing (mostly off key) to pass the long night shifts.

Brian joyfully welcomed the birth of his daughter, Kayla in 2008. He enjoyed doing art projects, visiting local parks, playgrounds, and restaurants with her. He adored his little girl and was so very proud of her.

Brian loved God, loved people, and loved to laugh. His 6'6 frame, and broad smile made him stand out everywhere he went. He put everyone at ease with his kindness and humor. He was a loving father, caring son and brother, cherished friend, and dependable co- worker. He truly left his mark of joy and laughter on all who knew him. The "Big Guy" touched a lot of people in his too short life and will be sorely missed.

He is survived by his father Richard Daley, stepmother Ann Daley, daughter Kayla Daley and brother John Daley, as well as his Massachusetts, Michigan, Texas and Home Depot family and friends.

Services will be held at the Victory Church, 67 High Plain St, Sharon, MA 02067on Saturday December 9, 2023, at 11AM. A live stream link will be available for those unable to attend.
