Wilma Lee Jones, age 83, of Georgetown, passed away on November 22, 2018.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 in the Chautauqua Room on the 3rd floor in The Wesleyan at Estrella Independent Living in Georgetown Texas.

Wilma was born on the late summer day of August 29, 1935 in Memphis, Tennessee to beloved parents, William and Ruth Howles. She married Carl Edward Jones on June 5, 1953 in Memphis. Wilma and Carl went on to have two children together, Shelley and Ronald, who they raised together with much love in West Memphis, Arkansas.  Carl Jones preceded her in passing on April 10, 2015. Wilma Jones loved her family and her friends very much.  She enjoyed traveling with Carl on business trips and sight-seeing trips across our country.  She and Carl loved to dance.  Wilma was an avid bridge player having learned to play the game at the age of 18.

Wilma was also preceded in passing by her brothers, Bill and Joe Howles.

She is survived by her daughter, Shelley Peachey; her son, Ronald Jones; her grandchildren, Steven Peachey, David Peachey, Robert Peachey, William Peachey, Krystal Sarmiento, and Kimberly Busby; her six great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Eleanor Shamblin, Jane Hooker, and Mary Mosely.

Wilma will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
