Celebrating the Life of Mr. Vinay Gokhale — Beloved Husband, Father, and Grand father

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Shri. Vinay Gokhale, who left this world peacefully on Monday, June 23, 2025, surrounded by loved ones in Austin, Texas. He was 77.

Vinay was a man of quiet strength, resilience, and generosity. Even during a brief but courageous battle with cancer, he remained steady and kind, lifting those around him with his warmth and spirit.

Born in Indore, India, he trained as an architect at CEPT (Ahmedabad) and the Industrial Design Centre at IIT Bombay. He built a meaningful career in Indore, Navi Mumbai (CIDCO), Bahrain, and Mumbai, where he retired in 2018.

Beyond work, Vinay was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He found joy in hiking, sketching, traveling, and sharing stories. He lived simply, gave freely, and carried quiet dignity in all he did.

He is survived by his wife Nanda; sons Salil (Kim, Rewa) in Austin and Sarang (Anjana, Devika) in Kelowna, Canada; his brothers Hemant and Ajay; sisters-in-law Shubhada and Neeta; and many dear relatives and friends.

Hindu last rites and a viewing ceremony will be held Friday, June 27th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM CST at Ramsey Funeral Home and Crematory in Georgetown, Texas. His ashes will be returned to India for final immersion and prayers.
