Obituary

Truett Dawson Nicholes went to heaven peacefully in Mommy and Daddy's arms and found eternal peace with God on July 7, 2024, at 5:25am. Born on November 6, 2022, Truett's time with us, though brief, was filled with immense love and joy. His beautiful smile and gentle presence touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Truett's light shined so brightly, captivating everyone who had the joy of knowing him. His radiant spirit drew people in, and his presence changed countless lives for the better, building a loving community around him. Truett's hair was beautiful and long, with every dimension of gold, and we always told him it was the color of an angel's hair. It made a halo around his face, lighting him up so perfectly. It was the first thing everyone would notice and comment on, often starting conversations.

Truett was fascinated by deep ocean videos, mesmerized by the wonders of the sea. He cherished the playful moments with his siblings, loved opening his mouth for all the kisses, giggling with delight during belly tickles and floor playtime, and being told "I love you" an uncountable number of times. Truett's joy and warmth were truly infectious, leaving a lasting impact on all who met him.

Truett's spirit was mighty, his light always sparkled, and his heart was full of love. Truett's legacy of strength and love will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us every day.

Truett is survived by his loving parents, Wesley and Amy Nicholes of Liberty Hill, TX.; and his adoring siblings, Logan, Quinn, and Easton. He also leaves behind his great-grandmother, Amparo Medina; devoted maternal grandparents, Ernesto and Norma Gonzales, all of Flatonia, TX; and paternal grandparents, Jimmie and Theresa Nicholes of Round Rock, TX; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who deeply love him and will forever cherish his memory.

A memorial service to celebrate Truett's life will be held on July 20, 2024, at 10am at Ramsey Funeral Home and Crematory, with a reception following at RockPointe Church - Liberty Hill Campus. In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate contributions towards planting trees at our home, where we can watch them grow in remembrance of Truett, or gifts of houseplants that don't easily perish. Contributions can be sent to Amy's Venmo: @Amy-Nicholes-2 or through Zelle by searching Amy's phone number.

"As you danced in the light with joy, love lifted you. As you brushed against this world so gently, you lifted us."
