Timothy William Cook, Jarrell, Texas, loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on June 22, 2023, at the age of 46. Timothy was born to Sylvia Hammar and George Cook on January 25, 1977, in Austin, Texas.

Tim graduated from Pflugerville High School. He married the love of his life, Nena Cook, in August 2014. Tim is survived by his loving wife, Nena Cook, and their children: Tyler Cook, Veida Alvarez, Payton Cook (fiancé, Pierce Drake), Diego Alvarez, Taylor Cook, and Madison Cook, and grandson, Carter Drake; mother, Sylvia Hammar, and parents, George and Gloria Cook; brothers: Keith Selvera, George Cook (wife, Courtney), and Kevin Lee (wife, Tanisha); sisters: Jennifer Green (husband, Brent) and Angela Schmitt (husband, Bill), aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Tim is preceded in death by his brothers: Anthony McConnell and Kevin Selvera; his paternal grandparents, George and Thelma Cook; and maternal grandmother, Guadalupe Cermeno.

Tim knew and loved Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He and Nena faithfully attended First Baptist Church of Bartlett with their children. Tim loved spending time with his family, going on many adventures around Texas and dreamed of buying land in San Saba. Tim always made fun plans with his family and friends, loved to crack jokes, was the life of every gathering, and loved making people laugh. Tim put his wife and children first; he was proud of his kids and new grandson. Tim had many lifelong friends that were as close as siblings. He spent several years playing Semi-Pro football for teams all over the country. He also enjoyed spending time coaching his daughters and sons in various sports.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Celebration Church, 601 Westinghouse Road, Georgetown, TX, at 9:30 am, followed by a celebration of Tim's life at 10 am, led by Pastor Randy Hale (First Baptist Church of Bartlett). Potluck reception will be held beginning at 5 pm at Mosaic Church Austin,12116 Jekel Circle, Austin, TX.

The honor of pallbearers has been bestowed upon George Cook, Tyler Cook, Keith Selvera, Diego Alvarez, Matt Ellis, and Nick Lucero.

Timothy William Cook will be deeply missed by his loving wife, family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
