Thomas Alan Blust, 75, passed away peacefully on June 2nd in Georgetown, Texas. Born on Long Island, New York, Tom lived a life marked by integrity, dedication, and deep love for his family.
A proud veteran of the Vietnam War, Tom served his country with honor and courage. His sense of duty extended far beyond the military—he was devoted to serving others, committed to kindness in all things, and had a remarkable way of making everyone feel like family. He approached life with a positive spirit, often punctuating moments with his favorite word, "SUPER," and reminding those around him to "keep it simple."
Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Kathy; his children, Brian (and wife Christina) and Colleen (and husband Brian); and his treasured grandchildren, Connor, Dylan, Cody, Kaitlyn, Kylie, and Oscar. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather, known for his quiet strength, warm humor, and unwavering support for those he loved.
A funeral service will be held at Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas on June 10, 2025 at 11:30am, to honor and celebrate Tom's life.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
