Susanne Marie King was born October 28,1947 in El Paso, Texas to Floyd Allen and Ida Hill. Growing up in Dell City, Texas, she later moved back to El Paso, Texas, where she married Robert King in 1991 who preceded her in death in 2019. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Robert Johnson, Floyd Hill and sisters Allene Gibson and Nancy Fetters. She passed away peacefully at home on August 30, 2025. She is survived by daughter, Heidi Holguin King; daughter, Alisa Angel; son David King and wife Erin; four grandchildren, Kelsey, Kristal, Austin and Madison; five great grandchildren, Salvador, Eli, Ella, Matthew and Graham.

Susanne graduated from Dell City High School and worked for the United States Postal Service  until her retirement. She and her husband moved to Georgetown Texas in 2004. One thing she truly enjoyed in life was cruising where she had gone on more than 30.  She was involved with several clubs including: Visual Arts, Wine, Walkers, Card/Games, Line Dancing and Women's bible studies.
