Susan Spahr, 83, was born on April 8, 1941 to Joseph and Mary Humberstone in Dundalk, MD and passed away on July 6, 2024 in Georgetown TX.

Susan's father was a Corporate Vice-President and was transferred frequently so Susan was never in one place long enough to make any lasting friendship in the grade and high schools she attended. Only upon her enrollment at Western College in Ohio did she make friendships which, in some cases, lasted the rest of her life.

She met her husband, John, through the Sports Car Club of America where he was a Starter and she worked in Registration. Their friendship blossomed and she and John were married in 1975. Her marriage lasted the rest of her life. The couple traveled some in the early days of their marriage then settled in Indianapolis IN where they lived until 1998. John retired from the Lawrence Township Fire Department and they moved to Sun City TX where they built a home and lived since then.

Susan had no surviving family members other than her loving husband and caregiver John.

Arrangements are being made through the Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown and a private family service will be held for internment.
