Susan Lorene Doss was born February 10, 1961, on Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX, to Dr. Donald and Phyllis Moore. After her father's service in the Air Force the family moved to Plainview, TX in 1966. Susan graduated from Plainview High School in 1979 and proceeded to study Commercial Art & Graphic Design at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas where she graduated in 1983. Upon graduation she began working in San Marcos, TX at Gulf Business Forms. During this time, she met her husband, Wayne, and they married June 6, 1987. After living and working in Austin, TX at GSD&M the couple moved to Georgetown, TX where they then had their daughter Abigail in 1992. Susan then decided to begin working on her teaching degree when Abigail started her school years. Susan dedicated her time to teaching the students in Georgetown ISD for 18 years when she then retired due to health complications. One of her greatest titles given was of Gam, when she became a grandmother in 2016. Susan was a devoted and loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She now rests in the arms of her Heavenly Father, free of illness and pain.

Susan is preceded in death by her father, Dr. Donald Moore, maternal grandparents, Robert and Lorene Brinkley, and paternal grandparents Carroll and Marva Moore.

Susan is survived by her mother, Phyllis Moore, husband, Wayne Doss, daughter and son in-law, Abigail and David Gordon of Clovis, NM, grandchildren, Jack and Paige Gordon, brothers, Dr. Donald Moore (Charlene) of Plymouth, MA, Dr. Jeff Moore (Carolyn) of Stephenville, TX, and Timothy Moore (LeCarole) of Dallas, TX, and their families.
