Steven (Steve) Joe Munden, 75, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away April 16, 2026, in Georgetown.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on June 5,2026, at The Worship Place, located at 811 Sun City Blvd., Georgetown, Texas 78633. Pastor Daniel Patrick will officiate the service, and arrangements are by Ramsey Funeral Home & Crematorium.

Steve was born June 21, 1950, in Dodge City, Kansas, to Howard Francis and Rosella Genevieve Munden. He went to school in Liberal, Kansas, and graduated from a two-year technical school. He worked as a professional salesman for several valve companies for over 30 years. He was the business development manager for The Ortloff Corporation until he retired in 2019. He was involved with the GPSA (Gas Processors Suppliers Association) in Midland, Texas, and served as its national president from 2007 to 2008.

He married Linda Lee Short on September 3, 2005, on Lake Tahoe in Crystal Bay, Nevada.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Rosella Munden; his first wife, Stephanie Nichols Munden; his niece Amy Bozarth-Ellis; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Steve is survived by his beloved wife Linda; son Jeff Munden; son Matt, and Jenne Barbour; sister Carol Welty, and Art Stephens; sister Jeanette, and Jack Bozarth; and grandchildren Brynn, Sloan, Zoë and Killian.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be given to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Wounded Warriors or the American Cancer Society.
