Shanta Franklin, 56, passed away on May 6, 2024, in Georgetown, Texas.

On December 14, 1967 a baby girl, Shanta Diann Jernigan was born to Mr. and Mrs. Francis and Anthony Davis.

To cherish her memory, Shanta leaves behind her three daughter's: Miracle, Uniqua, and Sharrun; two son's: David and Byron Jr.; her sister, Pam; best friend, Dee Dee; seven grandsons; seven granddaughters; two God-Children: e x-husband, Darrell Franklin; her younger two children's father, Byron Sr.; also two son-in-laws: Rodney and Edgar; one daughter-in-law, Antonette; one auntie; one uncle; and a bunch of cousins and friends.

A Special Tribute To Our Mother

Mom you are no longer in pain and finally able to see your mom again. Even though your passing was a total shock, we are okay!! Miracle did, what we laugh about her doing, but she pulled herself together and she is okay. You know how David an Uniqua are, but they are also ok. Byron Jr., surprisingly held it together the best! But we all have his back if he needs us. As for Sharrun, we are all going to step up more to make sure the rest of the time is smooth.

Rest in peace Mama ... until all five of us see you again.
