Sean Michael Bothwell, of Florence, Texas, passed away on the evening of January 21, 2025, at home with Penny by his side.

Sean was the son of Ronald (Ronnie) Bothwell and Barbara (Jenson) Bothwell, born on Feb 17, 1966 in Savanna, Georgia, although he claimed to be a Texan, on the grounds of the birthright of his father. He loved the people of Texas, the values here, and he embraced the motto The Friendship State.
Sean lived on his 13 acres outside of Florence, Texas, a part of "The Ranch" with his dog Penny and a bull. He loved fast cars, motorcycles, football and pretty women. He was a life-long Republican, with knowledge of the Bill of Rights, cherishing the first and second amendment rights, and was to eager to involve anybody in a conversation about politics. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior on Jan 1, 1984 being baptized at the First Baptist church in Florence, Texas. He attended Lawler Baptist church when he was in town. He found solace in being a Christian with the knowledge of forgiveness of Jesus Christ.
Sean worked for and eventually owned Sunflower Pack and Move, a professional moving company that was started in 1927. It was a shotgun moving company in the Kansas City area. Based out of Kansas City, Missouri, Sean traveled across the country helping people move for 34 years before retiring in 2019. He turned Sunflower Moving into Sunflower Pack and Move. He was very proud of moving people to all of the lower 48 states, as well as shipping to multiple countries around the world. He was very generous with his time and money in helping friends and people in need.
Sean's mother, Barbara Haider, preceded him in death, as well as his stepfather Dan Haider. His father, Ronald Bothwell, and uncle, Donald Jenson, also preceded him.
He is survived by his mother's sister, his aunt, Kathryn Jenson of Stockton, California; his step-brother Dan R. Haider Jr.; step-sister Mindy M. Barfield; step-sister Lois A. Hensley.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the GoFundMe campaign set up in memory of Sean Bothwell. The funds will help support the costs for Sean's funeral. The GoFundMe page can be found HERE .
