It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Satwant Singh on June 11, 2025, at the age of 68, surrounded by the love of his family.

Satwant was born on April 4, 1957, in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, the youngest of seven siblings. Despite losing his father at a young age and growing up in modest circumstances, he lived a life rooted in hard work, resilience, and unwavering love for his family. With the support of his mother and brothers, he pursued higher education in the United Kingdom, graduating with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Satwant began his career in Malaysia before marrying the love of his life, Gurmeet Kaur. Together, they built a beautiful life and welcomed two children, Harnick and Parveen. In 1997, they moved to San Jose, California, where Satwant continued his career in tech and proudly purchased their first home in the U.S. He worked for several leading companies including AMD, Apple (via PA Semi), Solaria, and Oracle before retiring in 2017.

Satwant loved to travel and explore new places, sharing his passion for discovery with his family. He was a true foodie who enjoyed Malaysian dishes and was always open to trying new cuisines. His love for music was infectious—he introduced his children to the sounds of Led Zeppelin, BB King, The Rolling Stones, and many more legendary artists. His home was always filled with music, warmth, and laughter.

A proud and devoted grandfather, Satwant adored his grandchildren, Micah and Arya. In 2024, he and his wife moved to Texas to be closer to them, embracing a new chapter with joy and love.

Despite enduring several health challenges beginning in his 50s, Satwant remained strong and optimistic, giving his family 18 more years of memories, milestones, and unconditional love. His final months were spent surrounded by those who cherished him most.

Satwant is survived by his wife Gurmeet, his children Harnick and Parveen, their spouses Rachel and Randy, his grandchildren Micah and Arya, and his siblings. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, selfless spirit, sense of humor, and the deep love he had for his family.

He lived a full and meaningful life and leaves behind a legacy that will live on in all who knew him.
