Rosettie Deloris Gard Harding was born on June 15, 1935 in Rushville, Indiana to Ralph S. Gard and Violet May Gard. She lived there until she was 18 years old. She got to Texas as fast as she could, after marrying our father, Raymond. They built a life together for over 58 years in Corpus Christi, Texas and she loved the warm weather. They raised three daughters. Mom worked for 34 years at J. C. Penney as an office manager. Rosettie loved her family, her job and her church. And, oh yes, she loved the various cats she had over the years. Mom and Dad loved to go dancing. She could still bust a move at 90 years old.

Mom loved Jesus. Rosettie attended and was a member of Brighton Park Baptist Church for many years.

The morning of July 28, 2025 surrounded by her family, she went home to be with the Lord.

She is survived by Deborah Pitman (Randy), Rita Bower (Jeff). She also had a daughter Rae Jean Cardinale (deceased) . Rosettie was affectionately called Memaw and had five grandchildren: Philip, Andrea, Laura, Brigett and Ross.  She had six great grandchildren: Sofia, Alina, Ocean, Oliver, Jaxon and Rae Lynn.

She will be laid to rest at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 4th at Wells Cemetery in Cleveland, TX.
