Rosetta Riggins Rose was the 12th child born to Mr. Jesse J. Riggins and Helen M. Nunn Riggins on April 7, 1949, in Taylor, Texas. Rosetta was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, and two sisters.

Rosetta was married to Reuben Rose Jr. on June 11, 1965, and four sons were born to this union.

Rosetta is survived by her four sons: Bryant Rose, Warren Rose, Jeffery Rose and Terence Rose; three grandchildren: DaShane (Kayla), Jonathen and Skyler; five great-grandchildren: Ariel, DJ, Kobe, Royalte, and K-lani; six step-grand and great-grandchildren: Jasmine, Jeffery, Shalika, Joe, Karyssa, and Izreal; two brothers: Leon Riggins (Ruth), and Andrew Riggins; and two sisters: Elizabeth Shanklin and Jean Miller; as well as numerous nieces (great), nephews (great), one aunt, two uncles, and many cousins.

Rosetta's passions were childcare, elder care, cooking and gardening.

A Celebration of Life for Rosetta will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28th, 2024 in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home. 5600 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78633. Pastor Richard Mauldin will be officiating.

A Reception will follow at the Sonterra Amenity Center, 510 Sonterra Blvd, Jarrell, Texas 76537.
