Robert Earl Thorman Sr. , age 83, died of natural causes on Tuesday May 25th, 2021, in Williamson County, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 62 years and 11 months, Serafina Garofalo Thorman, of Georgetown, Texas; Children Son, Robert Thorman Jr (Tammie), of Killeen, Texas; and daughters, Gina Lendway (Dave) of Georgetown, Texas, Teresa Cardona (Carlos) of Liberty Hill, Texas, Bobbie Sue Grimm (Todd) of Arlington, Texas, Rosie Eilers (Scott) of Lexington Kentucky and Angela Stamness (Steven) of Gatesville, Texas, Lacey Thorman of Georgetown, sixteen Grandchildren and fourteen Great Grand children. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Thorman and Jennie Stevenson Thorman, his brothers, George Edward Thorman, Albert Thorman and James Thorman and his son-in-law Dave Lendway.

Robert was born on November 20th, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to parents George and Jennie Thorman. He served in the United States Army as a Military Police from 1955 to 1975 and graduated from American Technical College with a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice. He spent the next thirty years in various civilian law enforcement agencies in Texas and Florida working as a Patrol Officer, Deputy, Investigator, Chief, TDC investigator and Crime Scene technician.

A loving father and husband he married Serafina Garofalo June 12th, 1958 in San Paola, Italy and the couple had six children together.

His family and friends will always remember him as a dedicated, loving and sometimes a cantankerous person.

A Memorial service is scheduled for May 28th at 3:30 PM, at The Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Dr, Georgetown, Tx with a reception to follow at the home of Gina Lendway, 100 N Buffalo Pass, Georgetown, Tx. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Robert's life.
