Robert L Benfer, 59, passed away on June 14, 2025 in Georgetown, TX.

Robert was a devoted husband and a cherished friend to many. He proudly served in the military from 1983 to 1992, demonstrating unwavering dedication and commitment to his country, and had a distinguished career in law enforcement where he dedicated his life to protecting and serving the community from 1993 to 2016.

Following his retirement, he embraced life to the fullest, enjoying the outdoors, engaging in hobbies such as gardening, hiking, and photography, and creating lasting memories with family and friends.

A funeral service was held at Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas on June 30, 2025.  A burial service followed at the Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
