Obituary

Reagan William Hammett went to be with our Lord on June 21st after fighting a battle with cancer followed by other illnesses which restricted his mobility in participating in various activities. He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church in Georgetown for over 20years. He served on the Security Team at Crestview. He was a mason and belonged to Round Rock, Hill City, Bertram, and Liberty Hill Masonic Lodges. In 2023 he received a 50-year pin for his service in the Lodge.

Reagan was preceded in death by his parents, Quincy and Aline Hammett. He is survived by his wife, Betty, his daughter, Barbara, his stepsons, Hal and Gary, his stepdaughter, Dee Ann and her husband, Joe, his grandson, Ryan and his wife, Madison, grandsons, Paul, Ethan and his granddaughter, Candace. Reagan enjoyed supporting Betty in coordinating and matching quilt fabrics. They made many quilts for cancer patients.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home with a time of visitation beginning at 10:00. Burial will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
