It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia "Patty" Lopez Jakubowski, age 54, of Georgetown, on December 10, 2024. Patty was born on December 2, 1970, in El Paso, Texas, to Jose Juan Lopez and Juanita Lopez.

Patty was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Joseph Michael Jakubowski III, and a loving mother to her three sons, Bradford Tyrone Amison Jr., Jacob Amison, and Daunte Amison, as well as her three step-children, Joseph M.D. Jakubowski IV (wife Wanjia), Samantha Jakubowski, Alexander Jakubowski. She is also survived by her sister, Angelica Lopez, her brothers, Jose Juan Lopez Jr. and Jaime Lopez, her sisters-in-law Cindy Lopez and Minerva Barraza, as well as nieces (Vivian, Gina, and Melanie), nephews (Devin and Jaime Jr), a great-niece (Naomi), extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

For 17 years, Patty served with dedication as a corrections officer at the Williamson County Sheriff's Office, where she made a lasting impact on her colleagues and the community. Her passion for service and commitment to others extended beyond her career, as she was a woman of deep faith, always living her life with generosity, kindness, and integrity.

Patty had a love for nature and animals, and she cherished spending time outdoors. Whether camping, attending Renaissance festivals, birdwatching, or engaging in leatherworking with her husband, she embraced life with a contagious enthusiasm. Above all, she treasured her family, especially her children, and the time they shared together.

Patty lived life to the fullest and never took a single moment for granted. Her radiant smile, infectious laughter, and unwavering love will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a truly forgiving and compassionate woman, always giving others the benefit of the doubt. Patty's faith in God guided her every step, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, grace, and strength.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16th, 2024, with the Recitation of the Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home, Georgetown.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 09:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024 at St. Helen Catholic Church, Georgetown.

A Celebration of Life for Patty's life will be held on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024 at Noon, at Dos Amores Event Center, Georgetown.

Patty will forever remain in our hearts, and her love and spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Con gran tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Patricia "Patty" López Jakubowski, de 54 años, de Georgetown, el 10 de diciembre de 2024. Patty nació el 2 de diciembre de 1970 en El Paso, Texas, hija de José Juan López y Juanita López.

Patty fue una esposa devota de su amado esposo, Joseph Michael Jakubowski III, y una madre amorosa de sus tres hijos, Bradford Tyrone Amison Jr., Jacob Amison y Daunte Amison, así como de sus tres hijastros, Joseph M.D. Jakubowski IV (esposa Wanjia), Samantha Jakubowski, Alexander Jakubowski. También le sobreviven su hermana, Angélica López, sus hermanos, José Juan López Jr. y Jaime López, sus cuñadas Cindy López y Minerva Barraza, así como sus sobrinas (Vivian, Gina y Melanie), sobrinos (Devin y Jaime Jr), una sobrina nieta (Naomi), miembros de su familia y amigos que siempre recordarán su memoria con cariño.

Durante 17 años, Patty sirvió con dedicación como oficial penitenciaria en la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Williamson, donde tuvo un impacto duradero en sus colegas y la comunidad. Su pasión por el servicio y el compromiso con los demás se extendieron más allá de su carrera, ya que era una mujer de profunda fe, que siempre vivió su vida con generosidad, amabilidad e integridad.

Patty amaba la naturaleza y los animales, y apreciaba pasar tiempo al aire libre. Ya fuera acampando, asistiendo a festivales renacentistas, observando aves o trabajando el cuero con su esposo, abrazó la vida con un entusiasmo contagioso. Por encima de todo, apreciaba a su familia, especialmente a sus hijos, y el tiempo que compartían juntos.

Patty vivió la vida al máximo y nunca dio por sentado un solo momento. Su sonrisa radiante, su risa contagiosa y su amor inquebrantable serán extrañados por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Era una mujer verdaderamente indulgente y compasiva, que siempre les daba a los demás el beneficio de la duda. La fe de Patty en Dios la guió en cada paso, y deja un legado de amor, gracia y fortaleza.

Se llevará a cabo un velatorio de 6:00 a 8:00 p. m. el lunes 16 de diciembre de 2024, y el rezo del rosario comenzará a las 7:00 p. m. en la Capilla de Ramsey Funeral Home, Georgetown.

La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo a las 9:00 a. m. el martes 17 de diciembre de 2024 en la Iglesia Católica St. Helen, Georgetown.

El martes 17 de diciembre de 2024 al mediodía se celebrará la vida de Patty en el Dos Amores Event Center de Georgetown.

Patty permanecerá por siempre en nuestros corazones, y su amor y su espíritu seguirán inspirando a todos los que la conocieron.
