Patricia Jane McElroy, 72, of Georgetown, Texas passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Park Place Nursing Center in Georgetown, TX. Patricia, known as Trish to many, was born on November 27, 1952, in San Saba, TX and was the youngest daughter of the late Billie and Lorene McElroy.

As a child, Trish enjoyed playing mud pie in the back yard, catching fireflies on summer nights, fishing and riding in the boat with her sister. She has always been an animal lover and never spent any time without a furry companion by her side. Trish was a wonderful cook and baker, making the best chocolate cake you will ever eat. She was crafty, enjoyed reading and spending time outdoors. In her later years, after suffering a serious head injury, she lived quietly while remaining a source of love and support to her family.

While Trish had multiple ups and downs throughout her life, she always maintained her infectious laugh and warm embracing hugs, something that will never be forgotten and will be greatly missed. She welcomed so many people into her life, including all her children's friends who considered her a second mom. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and would be the first to let you know how proud she was of them.

Trish leaves behind two children, Katrina (Chance), Andrew (Ashley), five grandchildren, her sister Sandra McElroy and many other loving family members and friends.

A private memorial will be held in Trish's honor. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to your local animal shelter in her memory.
