Patricia Ann Larson Luedecke, beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on April 20, 2025.

Patricia was known as a sweet and friendly lady and was loved by many. She was very loving and always there for her family and friends. Her memory will be cherished.

Patricia was born in Austin, Texas, on August 20, 1941, to Emma (Burkhardt) Larson of Austin, Texas, and Arvid E. Larson Sr., of Jonkoping, Sweden. She attended St. Martin's Lutheran Church, graduated from Austin High School, and attended the University of Texas at Austin. She went on to work at Austin National Bank and in poultry and peanut research at Texas A&M University.

In 1966, Patricia married the love of her life, Alvin R. Luedecke Jr., in Austin, Texas. Their 56-year marriage was one of deep love and devotion. She and Alvin had two daughters, Hope and Joy, and raised their family in Austin.

Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, and Grammy, and loved her family dearly. Patricia was a homemaker and served as a volunteer at her daughters' schools and was active in her church communities. In later years, she also served as a part-time election judge in Travis County, Texas.  She enjoyed reading, crafting, watching Aggie football, and playing Rummikub.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma and Arvid Larson, and her husband, Alvin R. Luedecke Jr.

Patricia is survived by daughter Joy England; daughter and husband Hope and Kurt Carlson; granddaughters Emily England, Presley England, Ava Carlson, and Greta Carlson; brother Arvid Larson Jr.; sisters Stacia DeBill and Linda Caffey; as well as cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and cherished friends.

A memorial service celebrating Patricia's life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Faith Lutheran Church, 4010 Williams Dr, Georgetown, TX 78628. A reception will follow in the church's activity center for family and friends to celebrate Patricia's life.
