Obituary

Pamela Starr Ross, affectionately known as Pam and Mimi, 72, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 26, 2025. She was surrounded with love from her family and her sweet angel ladies at Tiffin House during the moments leading up to her being called home. Born on September 3, 1952 in Pleasanton, Texas, Pam dedicated her life to living out our greatest commandment, love one another. If you knew Pam, you both loved her and were loved by her. She never met a stranger and was considered the most caring, kind and sweet soul by all who had the privilege to encounter her presence.

Pam's most extraordinary love in life was her husband, Charlie, of 53 years and the family they created together, their two children and spouses and their six beautiful grandchildren. She considered being a Mimi her greatest accomplishment. Pam worked as a pre-school teacher followed by a career as a Customer Service Representative at Dunn & Bradstreet where she retired after a loyal twenty years. When she wasn't spending time with her family, Pam enjoyed attending Celebration church and was active in the Celebration Seniors small group. She also enjoyed listening to George Straight, taking walks, going boating with her husband, taking trips to the beach, working puzzles, and offering a listening ear to anyone who needed it.

Pam is survived by her husband, Charlie Ross and their children and their spouses, Heather and Stoney Williams and Jeremy and Amber Ross. She is survived by six grandchildren, Ross Williams, Cailin Ross, Shaylee Ross, Madison Williams, Ethan Williams, and Anderson Ross. Pam was a beloved sister and is survived by her sister Paula Rice and her husband Rex. She is also survived by multiple cousins, nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Minnie Starr and her brother, Rick Starr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 9, 2025 in The Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home. A Reception will follow in the Reception Hall of Ramsey Funeral Home. Attendees are encouraged to wear any shade of blue as this was her favorite color.
