Norman L. Jones of Sun City was born on February 20, 1931 to N.L. and Norene Cope Jones in Hardeman County, Texas. He passed this life on December 1, 2018. He was born and raised in the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by both parents, daughter LeAnn Jones Popewell, and brothers Charles and Robert Jones.

He was employed by the Lower Colorado River Authority in June 1964 at the Sim Gideon Plant in Bastrop, Texas, and transferred to the Ferguson Plant in Marble Falls, Texas in 1972. He retired as Plant Manager after 30 Years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Christa; step-daughter, Tina Cloud of Pflugerville, Texas; two grandsons, Shane and Heath Popewell, son-in-law, Eddy Popewell, and six great-grandchildren, all of Wellington, Texas; along with an extended family of loved ones and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019 at The Worship Place in Sun City, Texas.
