Nancy Kay Stanfield Brown, age 63, of Georgetown passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2010 in Austin, Texas. She was born March 23, 1947 in Seminole, Texas to George Lesley and Mattie Sue (Elder) Stanfield. Nancy married Don Sloan Brown on May 23, 1976 in Pecos, Texas. Nancy was a dedicated wife, mother and friend who had a wonderful laugh. She loved her God, family, and friends with every fiber of her being. Nancy was a member of First Baptist Church in Georgetown, Texas.

Nancy is survived by her husband Don Brown of Georgetown; one son, Kevin Brown of Austin; four daughters, Katie Brown of Dallas, Kristin Brown Graham of Georgetown, Kari Brown Matocha of Corpus Christi, Kaylan Brown of Austin; one brother, Joe Stanfield of Belton; one uncle, Harold Elder of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Shelby Graham, Cash Graham, Tessa Graham, Joey Graham all of Georgetown; and many other half siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mattie Stanfield.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at 3:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Georgetown with Dr. David Griffin and Pastor Lee Hoy officiating. A reception and time of visitation will be held immediately following the service at New Church in Georgetown.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin M. Brown, Christopher Graham, John White, Josh Herrington, Mike Johnson, and Kyle Eckert. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Cannon, Jamie Garcia, Ron Greenfield, Nathan Estrada, Doug Pierce, and Scott Stevens.
