Mike Nobis, 54, of Liberty Hill, Texas, passed away on October 18, 2024. Born on August 24, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois, to Evelyn and Leonard Nobis, Mike lived a life filled with love, adventure, and unwavering faith.

Mike graduated from Lincoln Way Central High School in 1988 and later studied at Arizona State University. In 2013, he married Andrea Polidori, with whom he shared a deep bond and a son, Jacob.

Known for his fierce loyalty and dedication, Mike was a die-hard Bears fan and cherished his friendships, particularly with Peter, Eric, and Penny. He put his heart into everything he did, always striving for perfection and creating joyful family memories. Mike loved planning fun activities for Andrea and Jacob, including trips to Kauai—where he married Andrea—Carlsbad, California, Sedona, Arizona, Florida, and Wisconsin, where they enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, and beach time together.

A true outdoorsman, Mike's passion for nature shone through in every family outing. His love for Andrea and Jacob was evident in all he did, as he consistently prepared for their happiness and future.

Above all, Mike's faith was his guiding light. He often referred to his family as "the Trio," reminding them to stay united in prayer during challenging times. Even in his final hours, his unwavering faith in God remained strong.

Mike's love for Jacob was profound; he wrote letters and notes to ensure Jacob would have guidance throughout his life, emphasizing the importance of relying on God and building a relationship with Him.

Mike is survived by his mother, Evelyn; his wife, Andrea; and his son, Jacob. He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Nobis; his father-in-law, John A. Polidori; and his brother-in-law, Anthony J. Polidori.
