Michael, a loving husband, father, stepfather, and grandfather, passed away August 25th, 2024. Born in Toledo, Ohio, and raised in Michigan, Michael's life was defined by service, dedication, and determination. He answered the call to serve his country, enlisting in the U.S. Army, where he proudly dedicated his early years to military service.

After his military service, Michael pursued higher education at New Mexico State University. His professional journey led him to successful roles at AT&T Wireless and Apple, where his work ethic, kindness, and expertise left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike. Beyond his career, Michael had a passion for real estate, and was a dedicated Realtor with many strong client relationships to this day.

Michael is survived by his wife Kimberly Schieferstein, his stepsons  Sage Shows, Andrew Mendez,  three grandchildren and his son David Schieferstein all of whom he cherished deeply. Michael's legacy of hard work, dedication, and love will continue to inspire those who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A time of Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM on Saturday, 7th of September, 2024, at the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:30 PM.
