Mary Williamson, age 71, passed away on March 19, 2024 in Taylor, Texas. She was born April 28, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio to David T. Weisenhorn and Velma Young Weisenhorn. An Army brat, Mary and her family moved often. They came to Texas in 1962 and Mary never left. Mary is survived by her daughter, Trish (Lonnie) Owen of San Saba, and her son, Travis (Kim) Williamson of Cedar Park. She is also survived by her grandsons, Michael Brimble and Daniel Brimble, and her granddaughters, Emily (Cody) Maultsby and Ashleigh Clarke. She is also survived by her sisters, Carolyn Potter and Joan Fry, stepsisters Judy Coupel and Jonnie Bryant, and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, David Weisenhorn and Velma Bryant, and her sister, Janet Rogers.
Mary was a unique person of many talents. She liked to read, watch documentaries and do cross-stitch. She loved to laugh and visit with family. She made the best chicken and dumplings and was an incurable night owl. She handmade many beautiful items for her family that they will always treasure.
The family wishes to thank Compassus Hospice for caring for Mary during her illness. Memorial gifts may be made to the charity of one's choice.
