Martha Libersat Stanley passed away on December 20, 2025. She was the beloved wife of James Stanley, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.

Martha is survived by her sister, Ruth Libersat Cronan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard Libersat, Jr. and Nelda Abshire Libersat, and by her brothers, Albert Libersat and Ralph Libersat.

She is also survived by her three sons: Matthew Stanley and his wife, Allison Stanley, of Portland, Oregon, parents of Levi and Ty; Timothy Stanley and his wife, Erin Stanley, of Georgetown, Texas, parents of Stella, Sophia, and Luke; and her youngest son, Sean Stanley, of Pflugerville, Texas.

Though we grieve the loss of her earthly presence, we take comfort in knowing her Heavenly Father has received her into His loving arms. Martha will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her warm hugs, a kitchen always filled with food and laughter, and her gift as a thoughtful and engaging conversationalist.
