Martha Martinez, 60, went home to heaven on December 13, 2023 after her long battle with ovarian cancer. She was surrounded by overwhelming love and support in the comfort of her Pflugerville home and her transition, although sad for those left behind, was beautiful to watch as her final moments included the miracle of seeing a giant smile spread across her face.

Martha was born in Austin, Texas on February 17,1963 to her loving parents Efrain and Magdalena Torres. She graduated from Austin High School before becoming a paralegal for 43-years at Texas Classroom Teachers Association. Martha was married to Daniel Martinez on June 25, 1983.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 40-years, Daniel Martinez; children and their spouses, Crystal and Aaron Stewart, Katherine and Brian Rovanpera, her 2 grandchildren, Emily and Rocky Stewart. Her mother, Magdalena Torres and siblings and their spouses, Oscar and Delores Torres, Fred and Sandra Torres, and Efrain Jr and Linda Torres. Predeceased by her father, Efrain Torres (2003) and sister, Noemi Beita (1984).

Martha was always laughing and enjoyed being surrounded by childhood friends and her church family at The Bridge in Hutto Texas. Weekends often included long motorcycle rides with Daniel and making the most amazing memories with her grand-babies.

The Martinez family wishes to express their gratitude to Texas Oncology, Doctor Paul Loar - from MD Anderson, Doctor Timothy Yap and his team - Martha's physician, Doctor Roberto Peña, as well as the staff from Hospice Austin. Also, a special thank you to the Texas Classroom Teachers Association and The Bridge Community Church in Hutto for their support.

Serving as pallbearers are Marc Torres, Nathan Beita, Michael Torres, Matthew Torres, Christian Torres, and Joshua Ricketson.

Visitation arrangements will be held from 6-7pm for immediate family, 7-8pm for extended family & friends, Wednesday Dec 20, 2023 at Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Dr. Georgetown, Texas 78633.

Funeral service arrangements will be held at 11am on Thursday Dec 21, 2023 at Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Dr. Georgetown, Texas 78633. Burial will take place at 1pm at Cook Walden Capital Parks, 14501 North IH-35 Pflugerville, TX 78660.
