Obituary

Martha Lou Walker Edmondson, 84, of Georgetown, TX passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022.

She was born August 27, 1937 in Providence, Kentucky to Helen and Reverend Clyde Walker.

She was married to her husband, Robert Donald Edmondson, for 53 years.

Martha & Don lived in Lexington, Kentucky until 1970 when they moved to Round Rock, Texas.

Martha & Don enjoyed hunting and fishing together for many years.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Janice Heisch of Georgetown, Texas, grandson Phillip Heisch, wife Samantha and great granddaughters Audrey & Emily Heisch of Houston, Texas, granddaughter Rachel Henderson and husband George and great grandsons Harvey & Hank Henderson of Austin, Texas and nephews Andy and Mark Walker of Lexington, Kentucky.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son-in-law Randy Heisch, brothers Charles Allen Walker, George Riley Walker, and sister Margaret Riley.

Martha will be remembered as a loving, supportive and encouraging mother and grandmother.  "Mommaw" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she made sure everyone knew the greatness she saw in them.

Martha loved to read, play cards, and was the biggest fan of Texas Longhorn Basketball. She was smart, independent, funny, and known for making her beautiful Mommaw Blankets.  She was always there for her family, and especially loved her great grandchildren.

Throughout her life Martha was most proud of her family, and devoted herself to truly caring for them.  Martha will be tremendously missed and forever remembered.
