Mark Daniel Walker, age 68, of Georgetown, TX, passed away on October 31, 2022 from heart
complications.

Mark was born on August 25, 1954 to Daniel Joseph Walker and Sylvia Mary Stiborik Walker in
Austin, TX. After graduating from Georgetown High School in 1972, he worked in a number of
industries and positions, including Director and VP of Operations for a number of healthy snack
food startups, including Guiltless Gourmet, Beanitos, Lesser Evil, and YumEarth.In 1977, he started dating Brenda Neitsch Walker, and they wed in 1981, going on to have two sons, Andrew Joseph and Paul Samuel.In 2004, he purchased Brenda's family's century farm, to which he devoted much of his timeand energy until the time of his passing. Mark was also passionate about keeping in touch with
family and friends, praying for them, and helping anyone in his path who had a need of any
sort.

He volunteered his time to many causes, but as a baptized and confirmed Catholic, one of the
most notable recipients of his goodwill was St. Helen Catholic Church. He served there as an
usher for many years, as well as a member of their first parish council.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel ("DJ") and Sylvia, as well as his siblings Pat
and Phil. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; his sons, Andrew (Audrey) and Paul; his
grandchildren, Lydia, August, and Lucas; his sister, Marianne; and a number of nieces and
nephews.

Funeral Mass and interment of ashes will be led by Father Stephen Nesrsta on December 17,
2022, 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Corn Hill (Jarrell address), followed by a
reception and light refreshments.

Memorials may be made to The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Diocesan Council of Austin or
to ALS Association of Texas.
