Mark Callahan, 65, passed away on December 1, 2024, in Georgetown, TX.

Mark Callahan was born on April 10, 1959 in Attleboro, MA, to Kenneth Callahan and Grace Callahan.

Mark graduated from Attleboro High School in 1977. He started his career as a Carpenter and went on to own his own company.

Mark married Ruth Callahan on November 23, 1985. The couple had 2 children, Amber Evans and Patrick Callahan. Once Mark started adding children to the family he then started adding four legged friends. He never went without having a dog.

Mark enjoyed being outside riding his Harley motorcycles, grilling out, listening to music and cooking up a killer breakfast. He loved to hang out with friends at the bar or house and always had a smile and a wave or hug for everyone. He taught his kids and many others how to play different sports. Mark was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back and loved to lend a helping hand to others. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Mark lived the majority of his life in south Florida where he met Ruth and raised his family. He spent his last remaining years in Georgetown, TX. Mark never met a stranger because they all ended up as friends.

Mark is survived by Janet Callahan-Morton - sister, Bryan Callahan - brother, Amber Evans - daughter, Patrick Callahan - son, Benjamin Evans - son-in-law, Dustin Callahan - grandson, Hayden Evans - grandson, Anthony Callahan - grandson, Sally Callahan - sister-in law, Alan Morton - brother-in-law, Riley Morton - niece, Kayla Morton - niece.

Mark is preceded in death by Ruth Callahan - spouse, Kenneth Callahan - father, Grace Callahan - mother, Robert Callahan - brother, Elizabeth Hostetler - mother-in-law.

The Celebration of Life for Mark Callahan will be held on April 5, 2025, from 2-5 in Sun City at the Cowan Creek Pavilion, 1433 Cool Spring Way, Georgetown TX.
