Marjorie Frances Thomas of Georgetown, Texas passed away at Seaton Williamson Hospital on Wednesday January 29 ^th , 2020.

Marjorie was born May 3, 1935 in Georgetown, Texas to Robert Poole and Thelma Headrick Poole. She attended Georgetown schools and graduated from Southwestern University with a B.S. in Education. Marjorie was employed by Williamson County and worked in the County Clerk's office. She retired in 2002.

Marjorie was a member of Gabriel Oaks Church of Christ. She loved the Lord, her family, friends, and her Church. She loved teaching Sunday School and Ladies Bible class. She enjoyed 42 parties, playing cards and her "coffee bunch". She loved laughing, joking, and spending time with family and friends.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband John R Thomas, Parents Robert and Thelma Poole, and brother Dudley Poole. She is survived by her daughter Laura Milne and husband Andrew; son John Thomas and wife Kim; granddaughters Peyton and Hallie Thomas; sisters-in-law Ruth Poole, Alice Turner, and Martha Stone.

Visitation Tuesday February 4, 2020 from 5-7pm at Ramsey Funeral home. Funeral service Wednesday February 5, 2020, 2pm at Ramsey Funeral home with interment following at IOOF cemetery.

Pallbearers: Dennis Brabandt, Chip Edmiston, Jamie Brizendene, Chad Knudsen, Ricky Horn, and Jeff Clifford. Honorary Pallbearers: Fred Kaufman, Bill Edmiston, and Tommy Knudsen

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that Memorial Donations be made in Marjorie's name to  Lubbock Christian Children's Home www.childshome.org , 4404 Idalou Rd, Lubbock, Texas 79403.
