Obituary

Marjorie Marion Jones, 83, of Georgetown passed away into the arms of the Lord on December 9, 2018.

Born to loving parents Chester and Marion Morterud on July 2, 1935, Marjorie was a gift of joy to her parents that summer day in Duluth, Minnesota. Marjorie decided to share her wealth of love when she married her husband, William "Bill" Jones, in Houston, Texas on October 21, 1995. Marjorie and Bill Jones retired to Georgetown, Texas in 1996 where they also shared their love of Christ. A devout member of Faith Lutheran Church, Marjorie was a child of the Lamb and a friend of the congregation. She volunteered eleven years of work on the Church Bulletin and supported a myriad of Faith Lutheran events. She will be deeply missed by her congregation, many friends, and family.
