Marcos "Tiny" Alaniz unexpectedly passed in the early morning of December 18, 2024 in his home in Austin, Texas. He will be dearly missed by his family and close friends that he left behind.

Marcos was born in Harlingen Texas on October 7, 1985. He was the oldest of 4 siblings. He spent his childhood and early teenage years growing up in the valley before moving to Austin and then Round Rock with his family. He graduated from Stony Point High School class of '04.

Acts 20:35 "it is more blessed to give than to receive"

Marcos truly knew that is was more blessed to give than to receive as he was always looking for ways to help those around him. His loyalty and selflessness knew no bounds. Marcos was the kind of person who lived with no regrets and loved deeply. He touched the lives of many and will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Maria Castaneda, his siblings Moises (Jennifer) Alaniz, Anna (Cristian) Torres, Robert Castaneda Jr, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service will be held in his honor at the chapel of the Ramsey Funeral home on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 10 a.m. 5600 Williams Dr. Georgetown, Texas 78633
