Lydia Garza Reta, age 65, Passed through heaven's gate on Wednesday April 28, 2021. Lydia was born on December 3, 1955 in Robstown, Texas, to Rogelio L. Garza and Paula V. Garza.

Lydia is preceded in death by her parents, Paula V. and Rogelio L. Garza; son, Evaristo Esteban Reta; grandson, Brian Navarro. She is survived by her significant other, Pedro Colunga; daughters, Anna Reta-Feliciano Navarro, Nora Garza-Jesus Rodriguez; son, Oscar Martinez; granddaughters: Pauline Nieto, Lydiana Sosa, Brianna Navarro, Jessica Garza, Erika Garza, Destiny Reta, Ashley Reta; Grandsons: Jeffery Reta, Angel Navarro, Richard Reta, Luis Villareal, Ruben S. Garza, Roger Garza, Ryan Rios; Sisters: Juanita Rodriguez, Paula Garza, Mary Rodriguez, Margie Garcia, Belinda Guitierrez; brothers, Juan Garza, Joe Garza, Frank Garza; and 24 Great Grandchildren.

Lydia Garza Reta, Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, and sister was caring, loving, and the most amazing person always making smiles and happy moments for all her loved ones and anyone who shared life with her. We are going to miss her dearly and will continue to share and hold all the great times and memories we had with her.

Those special memories of you will always bring a smile, if only we could have you back for just a little while, then we can sit and talk again just like we used to do, you always meant so very much and always will too, the fact that you are no longer her will always cause us pain, but you're forever in our hearts until we meet again.

We think about you always, we think about you still, you have never been forgotten and you never will, we hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain, to walk and guide us through our lives, until we meet again.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm with the Recitation of the Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home.
