Logan Michael Raguse
May 8, 1995-April 3, 2022
Logan Michael Raguse, 26, Kyle, TX. Passed away on April 3, 2022
He is survived by his parents Mike & Sue Raguse, brother TJ, Grandparents-Carol Brenna, Gordon & Heide Raguse, Roy and Suzi Newbold as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whose lives will be forever changed.
We will be having a celebration of Logan's life for family and close friends at his childhood home in Georgetown on Saturday, April 9th, from 1pm-3pm.
Logan was born in Las Vegas, NV and lived in seven states prior to moving to Georgetown, TX where he attended middle and high school. He received a degree in Construction Management from Texas State University and upon graduation was hired as a Field Engineer with Skybeck Construction. He quickly moved up the ranks to Assistant Superintendent receiving numerous company awards for his "get it done" work ethic. He recently started a new career with Builder's First Source as Manager of Facilities. Logan was extremely excited about this new challenge, responsibilities and travel, as well as being a part of the company and industry that his dad has worked for his entire career. He purchased a new home of his own in Kyle, TX that he took pride in and had dreams to build his next home.
Logan touched the lives of so many in his short 26 years and lived life to the absolute fullest. Relationships, work, and fun-Logan was all in! He was all in for his family…All in for his friends…and helped so many people become better versions of themselves. He had a way of making everyone feel special and feel accepted. Logan changed this world for the better.
Logan has a family that loves him dearly, and he made every friend feel like they were his "best" friend. Navigating without him in our presence here on earth is going to be a challenge. Please keep us in your thoughts & prayers. We are all so thankful and will cherish all the wonderful memories that we shared with Logan.
There are so many stories of Logan helping and looking out for others (too many to count.) All the sweet ways he helped his grandma, helping his friends get better jobs, helping the homeless in Austin by his job site and helping a co-worker in need. Logan saved a stranger's life, stopping on the side of the road when no one else would to help her. He truly has a kind and compassionate soul and is probably already "getting it done" up in heaven.
When he wasn't working, he loved surfing at the lake, Lake Powell, Michigan, snowboarding, working out at the gym, concerts ( Texas Country, EDM), tubing down the river, weekends in Port A, washers, card games and his cat Sailor. He really loved anything that involved being with friends and family and enjoying ganlife!
Logan was really happy…he told us so just three days before he went up to heaven, but his loss is Tragic!
Don't take life for granted, make wise choices, be present, make time for what's important, love more, live more and be happy!
In lieu of flowers, donations in Logan's memory may be made to the following: Heal Our Warriors Foundation, 589 Lake St., Frankfurt, Michigan 49635.
