Linda Cain, a lifelong resident of Georgetown, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on July 30, 2026, in the home where she had spent most of her life.

Born on February 16, 1957, in Georgetown, Linda was the daughter of Willie Elder Cain and Effie Mae Cain. She was one of eleven siblings—Charles, Kenny, Roger, Billie Ruth, Terry Rey, Denman, Willie, Carroll, Darrell, and Joyce Elaine. The Cain family established deep roots in Georgetown, and those roots continued to grow through generations of children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.

Linda lived an extraordinary life. She knew and loved hundreds of people, and in return, she was loved by so many. She had a radiant personality, a goofy sense of humor, and a way of making ordinary moments memorable. She was the kind of person whose presence could light up a room, and the impact she made on others will remain long after her passing.Although Georgetown was always home, Linda spent one year living in Illinois before returning to Texas, the place she truly belonged. She spent the rest of her life surrounded by the familiar people, places, and family she loved so dearly.

Linda enjoyed the simple things that made life special. She loved long walks, late nights, shopping, listening to her favorite song, “Red Wine,” and spending time with the people she loved. She especially enjoyed a good Saturday spent thrifting, always ready to see what treasures she might find. She loved beach trips, soaking up the sunshine and making memories along the way, and she had a special love for anything safari. On a hot Texas day, one of her favorite things to do was make a trip to Sonic.

Above all, Linda loved good family time—the laughter, conversations, stories, and memories that brought everyone together. Those moments were among the things she treasured most.

Linda was the proud mother of three sons, Bobby, Kenny, and Brandon, and she took great pride in her growing family. She also shared the last ten years of her life with her loving spouse, Ron Rogers, who remained by her side and was an important part of her life and journey.

She is survived by her loving spouse of ten years, Ron Rogers; her son Bobby Denson and his children Maci and Taylor Denson; her son Brandon Denson and his fiancée Jesse, daughters Ali, Gracie, Elayla, and Alanna Denson; grandchildren by Kenny, Briah Denson, Lindsey Denson, Hailey Denson, Wyatt Denson, and Kynlee Denson; great-grandchildren Brayleigh Warneke, Emory Warneke, Faye Marsh, and Mollie Oretgon ; and her brother Charles Taylor.

While the last few years brought difficult challenges following Linda’s Parkinson’s diagnosis, those years were only a small part of a much bigger life. Before her illness, Linda was radiant, goofy, fun, loving, and full of life. That is how she deserves to be remembered.

She spent most of her life in Georgetown, the place she called home, surrounded by generations of family, friends, and people whose lives she touched. Her greatest legacy is not something that can be measured—it is found in the people who loved her, the family she helped build, the laughter she shared, and the memories she left behind.

Linda Ramos will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
