Linda Winterrowd Laughlin passed away peacefully on September 24th, 2023. She was born on Feb 6th 1941 in Pecos, TX. Linda graduated from Pecos High School in 1958 and went on to study business at North Texas University. Growing up she attended First Baptist Church of Pecos.
Linda's early years were dedicated to raising her sons, Kyle and Craig Collinsworth. As the boys grew she was able to commit her time and efforts to the Round Rock community. Linda's professional career started at Round Rock National bank, where she assisted it the development and organization of community outreach. After her time at Round Rock National Bank, Linda took a position as a District Deputy Director for a US Congressman from TX. She held many leadership roles in various organizations such as Round Rock YMCA, Round Rock Housing Authority, Round Rock Chamber of Commerce, and American Cancer Society, to name a few. As her political career evolved, she moved to Washington DC, where she took on her second most notable position. While supporting the US congressman, her top priority was to support our fallen soldiers as an Army Arlington Lady. Linda served and supported families of over 700 funerals for our Armed forces. She was light and love for them with each honored salute.
Linda was preceded in death by her two brothers Lonnie and Dennis Winterrowd, her mother Edith Winterrowd Smith and Father Ross Winterrowd.
She was survived by her son's Kyle Collinsworth and wife Holly, Craig Collinsworth and Stacey Jensen, brother Cary Don Winterrowd and wife Vickie, children and grandchildren and Sister-in-law Mary Winterrowd, children and grandchildren, Sister-in-Law Dawn Winterrowd.
Memorial services will be held on November 4th, 2023 at Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Drive, Georgetown TX, 78633
