Linda Lois (Howard) Adair, age 77, entered her eternal rest Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024. Linda was born on December 17th, 1946, to Hazel Lois (Box) Howard and Pete Howard in Georgetown, TX. Linda was greeted by a large and loving family but following tragedy early in life Linda grew up in Sunny Glen Children's home in San Benita, TX with her brother, Elmer. She met and married Adolf Benson Adair in July of 1970 in Wichita Falls, TX. In 1979, following a tornado, she, her husband, and two sons returned to her hometown of Georgetown, Texas where Linda lived most of her life and had her third son. Over the years Linda held numerous occupations, but the longest and most loved was working at McCoy Elementary for over 20 years. Linda was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and spent the last two years living in Comanche, TX where she was a member of the Pearl Street congregation. Despite the struggles that Linda encountered over the years, her love for her heavenly Father was seen in how she loved her family and others.
