Our loving mother and friend Lenora "Sweet" Jackson went home to be with The Lord on November 25, 2020 with her family at her bedside. She was born on April 1, 1928 in Williamson County, Texas to Mattie and Walter Pardner.

Ms. Sweet, as she was known to all, and to her grandchildren, great grandchildren and their friends as Grandma or Mamma. She was a life-long resident of Georgetown, Texas. She was a member of Wesley Chapel AME Church where she served as an Usher, Trustee, and president of the missionary society. Ms. Sweet was always available to help whenever she was needed in the various church events.

She attended Marshall Carver School and later entered the nursing field. She worked as a certified nurse's aide at The Wesleyan and retired with 20 years of service. Ms. Sweet continued to do occasional private duty nursing after retirement.

Ms. Sweet was always reading her Bible and books on ancient Egypt. We had many family debates concerning the Bible. We have so many blessed memories of her as she always told us to "Trust in The Lord always".

Ms. Sweet is proceeded in death by her parents Mattie and Walter, her Husband Herbert Hoover Jackson Sr.; son, Herbert Allen Jackson; son, Herbert Jackson Jr.; daughter Barbara Elaine; sisters: Della Taylor, Vera Sedwick, Janet Pardner; brother, J. D. Pardner

She is survived by her daughters: Dorothy Franklin, Patricia Martinez and Gloria Jackson; four grandsons; one granddaughter; 8 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Citizens Memorial Cemetery in Georgetown.
