Lars "Larry" Hanson, 77, of Round Rock passed away on May 9, 2018.

A Graveside Service is to be held at 9:00 a.m. with Military Honors on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. A Memorial Service will be held the same day at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas.

Lars David Hanson was born near the end of a year on December 30, 1940 in Willmar, Minnesota to parents, Elmer and Elizabeth (Risvold) Hanson. Larry joined the United States Army, and served his country for many years. He went to college at Central Texas College where he obtained his Masters Degree in Criminal Justice.

Larry married his beloved wife of 41 years, Yang, in Seoul, South Korea on May 26, 1976.

Larry Hanson is preceded in passing by his parents, Elmer and Elizabeth Hanson.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Yang Hanson of Round Rock, Texas; son, Larry Hanson and his children, Jocelyn and Elizabeth Hanson of Round Rock, Texas; brother, Tom Hanson of Copperas Cove, Texas; niece, Sue Ann Hanson of Copperas Cove, Texas; and granddaughter, Mila Barrera of San Antonio, Texas.
