Larry Owen Wonder was born on July 10, 1951 in McVille, North Dakota to Helen and Theodore Archibald (Spike) Wonder. After graduating from high school in McVille in 1969, he attended the University of North Dakota (UND) receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 1973. While attending UND he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity through which he met the love of his life, Debrah Erickson, and they were married on May 29, 1971 in Cooperstown, North Dakota.

Larry's first job was with Northern School Supply, as a sales representative, based in Minot, North Dakota. In 1974 he accepted a job with Virco Manufacturing (based in Torrance, California) and moved to Sacramento, California where he was a sales representative. In 1982, he was promoted to Regional Sales Manager and moved his young family to Atlanta, Georgia. In 1990 he was again promoted, this time to Divisional Manager and then soon after to the National Vice-President of Sales for Virco. He retired in 2011 after 33 years of valued work at Virco.

Outside of work, Larry has held positions as an Elder at San Gabriel Presbyterian Church in Georgetown, Texas and Deacon at St. Peter's by the Sea Presbyterian Church in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. His hobbies include reading, target shooting and "road trips".

Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years Debrah of Georgetown, Texas; his son, Nathan (Lena) Wonder of Irvine, California; his daughter, Nancy (Nick) Landry of Everett, Massachusetts; his grand-daughters: Annabelle and Charlotte Wonder and Willow Landry; his brother, Douglas (Audrey Gordon) Wonder of Georgetown, Texas; his sister, Barbara (Cliff Ingles) Wonder of Apple Valley, Minnesota; and his brother-in-law, Dennis (Deb) Erickson of Underwood, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Larry's memorial service will be held Sunday, June 9th at 2pm at San Gabriel Presbyterian Church in Georgetown, Texas to be followed by a Reception at the Georgetown Sheraton from 3:30 to 6:30pm.

Burial will be at Ness Lutheran Church Cemetery in Cooperstown, North Dakota on June 28 at 11am.
