Larry
Goldsborough
August 1, 1934 – June 8, 2025
Larry George Goldsborough 8/1/1934 - 6/8/2025
Survived by his wife, Della Goldsborough; three children: Tisha Ritter, of Georgetown, Ricker Goldsborough of LA, Neal Goldsborough of CO; three grandchildren, Sydney Carrasco, Megan Krauskopf, Miles Goldsborough; and 8 great grandchildren.
Larry was born in Grand Junction, CO in 1934 to Hazel and George Goldsborough. In 1956 Larry graduated with a BS in Marketing with a minor in Air Force ROTC from Cal State at Berkeley. He married Della Lester and moved to Mt. Home, Idaho and started his 20 year service for our country in the Air Force.
In 1976, Larry retired from the Air Force moving to Georgetown where he bought Dodson Glass and Mirror changing the name to Eagle Glass. When he sold the glass shop he started two businesses: The Edge Sharpening, and C-DAR wood creations. He sharpened on site for the Georgetown quilt show and many restaurants, and construction companies. His wood working was sold at Hand Crafters Unlimited on the Georgetown square. When the oak at First Texas Bank on Austin Ave. came down, Larry turned the wood into pens for the Bank employees.
He was a church elder, Sunday School teacher, and encourager to the young. Larry wanted everyone to know that Jesus now ruled his heart. He loved giving and continued until he died even if it was a wink or a piece of candy, he was always eager to not just share, but give.
