It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kurt Robert Lentz, 33 years old of Georgetown, Texas.  Kurt passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident on April 11th, 2025 returning home to be with his two favorite people in the world.

Kurt was born on August 12th 1991 to Robert and Jill Lentz in Orange, California.  Kurt was an amazing husband, dad, son, stepdad, brother, son-in-law, firefighter, and many other titles. Everyone that knows Kurt loves Kurt.  He had a huge heart and put God and his family above everyone.

Everything Kurt did he did big; especially loving his wife Rachael and his son Ryan.  Kurt beamed with joy anytime he had an opportunity to share about his wife and son.  They were his world.

Kurt has been a first responder/firefighter/paramedic since 2014.  He started his career at Bexar County District 7 in the San Antonio area in 2017, then came to Georgetown Fire Department in August of 2019.  Kurt has been assigned to the "Big House" station1 since 2020.  Kurt was amazing at his job and a mentor to many of our members.  He always had a smile on his face that was infectious to everyone he encountered.

Kurt is survived by his wife Rachael and son Ryan, stepson Carter, and his beloved chocolate lab Jax, parents Robert and Jill Lentz of Georgetown, sister Jackie, brother in-law Brock and niece Victoria of Georgetown, mother in-law Deanna and her husband David of Gause, Texas and father-in-law Mark Carter of Broad Run, Virginia.   He is also survived by many family members and friends.
